Om baldersnäs

Baldersnäs herrgård is a cultural-historical gem dating from the 18th century and a modern hotel with a high-class restaurant. The manor is located on its own peninsula, surrounded by a beautiful park and the sparkling water of Laxsjön. Just over a hundred years later, in 2011, two new hotel wings were built, beautifully situated on both sides of the fine avenue that extends from the main building and north. Baldersnäs can today offer a total of 34 hotel rooms. Of these, there are 20 bright rooms with modern furnishings, in the new wings and 10 rooms with contemporary furnishings are located in the manor house itself. You get the view of the magnificent park or the lake. In the manor's restaurant kitchen, which is certified according to Västsvensk Mersmak, and recommended by White Guide, the kitchen manager and his colleagues work mainly with local produce from forests and the waters in the area. Here, local specialties together with seasonal ingredients are in focus.
